Orchard Mesa Structure Fire

Around 07:30 on February 20th, 2019 Central Orchard Mesa Fire Department was dispatched to a working residential structure fire at 370 33 ½ Rd. in the Orchard Mesa area. First unit on scene found a single story single family residence with a working fire and requested additional support. Chief 21 arrived on scene and took command of the incident. The structure was a complete loss and crews had the fire knocked by 09:00. Additional support crews from Clifton, East Orchard Mesa Fire, and Lands End remained on scene until approximately 14:00. American Red Cross assisted the displaced residents. The fire is under investigation. The fire brought in several neighboring agencies to assist.
