Antelope Trail Chimney Fire

At 15:17 on November 2nd, 2019 MetCom alerted South Metro Fire Rescue to a structure fire at 12619 Antelope Trail in Parker. Engine 47 arrived to a medium size 2-story single-family with nothing showing in offensive investigation. Engine 46 completed a 360, reported a working fire in the wall, and the call was upgraded to a working fire. Command assigned Medic 41 to assist Engine 47 with fire control and extension. Battalion 4 arrived and assumed Antelope Trail command in the offensive strategy. Ladder 14 arrived and assigned to the 2nd floor and check for extension on the Charlie side. Medic 42 assigned as medical and rehab. Crews got a quick knock on the fire and the rest of the working fire assignment was cancelled. Fire investigator were called to the scene and determined that the cause of the fire was started in the chimney area of the fireplace. Everyone evacuated safely and no injuries were reported. Additional information provided by South Metro Fire Rescue
