Parker Foxwood Court Fire
Parker Town-home Fire
On November 5th, 2019 MetCom dispatched South Metro Fire Rescue to confirmed multi-family structure fire on Foxwood Court in Parker. The 911 caller reported smoke visible and a person possibly trapped inside. First arriving Battalion 4 sized up a medium size row of town homes with smoke showing from the chimney and assumed command in the offensive strategy. Medic 41 forced entry through the front door, discovered heavy smoke inside and used a water can to control a fire on the first floor. Tower 45 was assigned to assist with the primary search and Engine 46 advanced a 1 ¾” line for fire control. Safety 18 assumed incident safety and secured utilities, Engine 42 assisted with water supply and ventilation and Medic 46 staged for EMS. All searches proved negative with no occupants inside and the fire was quickly extinguished. The cause remains under investigation. Additional information provided by South Metro Fire Rescue
