Second Alarm Structure Fire

At 13:47 on March 31st, 2020 Adams County Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire call at 7295 Washington St. at Boyer’s coffee. Truck 14 arrival to a large commercial building with smoke showing from the roof, and entered for a primary search. Engine 71 arrived and established the water supply to Truck 14, and Battalion 11 arrived and took command. Conditions quickly changed, and crews determined it was unsafe to stay inside, and the fire went into a defensive strategy. Command request a 2nd alarm at 14:04 and a major incident tone. With heavy fire conditions several aerial master streams were used, and the fire quickly escalated. Unfortunately the building is a total loss.
