Denver Garage Fire

Around 10:15 on November 20th, 2020 Denver Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the 4500 block of N. Sheridan Blvd. and West Metro Fire Rescue with auto-aid from Arvada Fire Protecting District also was called to the area of W 45th Ave. & Sheridan Blvd. on a possible structure fire. West Metro District 1 arrived to fire on the Denver side, and Denver Engine 17 found a working fire from a fence that extended into a garage in the alley between two residents. Engine 17 pulled a line in for fire attack with West Metro Engine 16 and Medic 16. Engine 12 secured the water supply to Engine 17, and Truck 12 pulled a 2nd line in. Crews got fire under control quickly, and West Metro and Arvada units were put back in service. Sheridan Blvd. was closed in both directions during fire operations.
