Estes Park Wildland Fire

At 17:29 on July 10th, 2020 Estes Park Emergency Communications Center (EPECC) dispatched Estes Valley Fire Protection District to a wildland fire in the 1200 block of Chasm Dr. off Devils Gulch Rd. in Estes Park. Crews arrived to a wind-driven wildland fire in rough terrain with trees torching and embers spreading the fire close to homes, and a 2nd alarm working wildland fire was requested. Crews started structure protection and evacuations were sent out in the area. No structures were lost and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
