Pleasant View Training

Pleasant View Fire Department conducted training at 311 10th St. in downtown Golden. The building was purchased from Miller-Coors by the city of Golden, and is set to be demolished in the coming months. Golden Fire Department provided district coverage to Pleasant View Fire which allowed the on-duty crew to participate in training as well. Firefighters worked on hose movement throughout the structure and demonstrated multiple deployments and nozzle-handling techniques. This was an invaluable training opportunity for new and senior members alike. Pleasant View is currently looking for people who are interested in becoming a Volunteer Firefighter; applications will be accepted until September 15th, 2020 by 17:00.
