South Metro Rural Garage Fire

On April 5th, 2021 at approximately 17:20 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported structure fire at 10865 E. Parker Rd. Engine 47 arrived on scene within minutes of the call and found a garage on the property heavily engulfed in fire. Firefighters took up a defensive position to fight the blaze and called for tenders from surrounding agencies to help shuttle water to the scene. Most units were on scene about two hours extinguishing the fire and mopping up hot spots. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
