
DFPC Operation Prop – Dolores
Dolores DFPC Training
On August 4th, 5th, and 6th 2022 the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control held one of their four “all prop” trainings at the division’s Grizzly Peak Module Station in Dolores featuring the Mobile Driving Simulator Unit, Mobile Pump Operator Unit, and the Mobile Live Fire Training Unit. The division’s training aligned with the annual Tri-State Fireman’s Association Convention which brought firefighters from New Mexico, Arizona, and Colorado to participate in the event. Firefighters from local agencies participated in the training which was held in various blocks over a few hours. The DFPC trained over 50 personnel across the 3-day event.
Agencies in Attendance: Rico Fire Protection District, Dolores Volunteer Fire Department, Lewis-Arriola Fire Protection District, Pleasant View Fire Protection District, Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control, United States Forest Service, Mancos Fire Protection District, and Nucla-Naturita Fire Protection District.
