South Metro Residential Structure Fire

On May 10th, 2022 at approximately 14:30 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at Greenwood Gardens, 5190 S. Emporia Way. Greenwood Village Police arrived on scene and reported smoke and flames coming from the basement. Firefighters spent about 30 minutes extinguishing the fire, checking for extension and ventilating the residence. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
