Longmont Garage Fire

On December 26th, 2022 around 21:00 Longmont Emergency Communication Center (LECC) dispatched Longmont Fire Department to a reported structure explosion in the 100 block of Pacer Ave. after receiving multiple calls. Crews arrived to a fully engulfed detached garage that was spreading to a nearby residence. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire before spreading to far into the residence. One patient was transported to a local hospital and two others were transported on their own by a private vehicle. The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
