Station 10 Dedication

On September 10th, 2022 Loveland Fire Rescue Authority dedicated Fire Station 10, located at 4301 Ronald Regan Blvd. in the Kelim / Johnstown area. The event was attended by more than 100 friends and neighbors, the ceremony had to be moved inside due to inclement weather. LFRA’s Board of Directors and members of the Johnstown Town Council had the honor of uncoupling the fire hose, a fire service tradition in the place of a ribbon cutting. An honor guard made up of LFRA and Front Range Fire Rescue members including FRFR Chief Mike West playing the bagpipes and LFRA Firefighter Linda Thatcher in her first performance as a drummer raised the flag and led Engine 50 into the apparatus bay. The professional partners on this project was the Belford Watkins Group LLC, Wember and Golden Triangle Construction. LFRA would like to thank you to the Gerrard Family who generously donated the land for the fire station. Gary Gerrard, the past president of the Loveland Rural Fire Protection District had a shared vision with now Retired Chief Mark Miller to enhance fire service on the east side of I-25 for the citizens of both Loveland and Johnstown.
