Navy Sea Cadets Station Tour

North Metro Fire Rescue District hosted a group of Navy Sea Cadets on May 21st, 2022 at North Metro Station 65. The group of young cadets got hands-on experience learning about the fire service. As part of their tour and training, they got to try out the tools that is used for auto extrication and other incidents, see ARFF 65 (Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting) truck in action, suit up in bunker gear, gain insight into the EMS program, and get a feel for what it’s like to handle a charged fire hose. They also got to tour a business jet during their visit thanks to Mark Hummel at Boulder Aviation.
