Pueblo County Mass Casualty Exercise
Pueblo County Fire Chiefs conducted a mass casualty exercise at Giodone’s outdoor concert area, 23344 E. Hwy. 50, on August 18th, 2022. First responders from across the county responded to a simulated explosion at the venue with numerous injuries. Crews engaged in triage, treatment, and transport. The exercise was designed to test the Pueblo County Mass Casualty Incident plan that was created in 2019 by the Pueblo County Fire Chiefs. The exercise was evaluated by state and county officials.
