Genesee Open House

Genesee Fire Rescue held their annual open house on September 16th, 2023 with a large turnout from the community that came out to meet with firefighters, tour the fire apparatus, learn about fire safety and enjoy lunch. Genesee Fire has served 50 years to the community since 1973. Rob Geisliner from the National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA) was on hand with smoke alarm, live fire and sprinkler demonstrations. Foothills Fire Protection District, Highland Rescue Team, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Jefferson County Communications Center Authority (JeffCom 911), Rotary Wildfire Ready and others also participated in the event.
