Golden RV Fire

On February 27th, 2023 at 11:01 Golden Fire Department with Pleasant View Fire Department and Fairmount Fire Protection District was alerted to a RV fire at the Camping World, 16000 W. Colfax Ave. in Golden. Jeffcom (Central Fire Dispatch – CNF) advised that a RV was on fire in the back of the service lot threatening other RV’s in the area. Truck 41 arrived to smoke showing from an RV, pulled a 1 3/4 for fire attack in the offensive strategy and established their own water supply. Engine 21 arrived and pulled a 2nd line for fire attack and assisted with the primary search. Medic 22 arrived and staged as medical and Chief 21 arrived and assumed command. Battalion 30 arrived and assigned as safety and Chief 22 as support. Crews got the fire under control quickly and started overhaul. The fire cause is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
