Arapahoe County Structure Fire

On May 25th, 2024 at approximately 12:25 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at Willow Point Townhomes, 8500 E. Mississippi Ave. in unincorporated Arapahoe County. Crews arrived on scene and observed heavy smoke coming from the garage. A second alarm was soon toned out. Firefighters were on scene over an hour extinguishing the fire, checking for extension and mopping up. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
