Meyers Gulch Fire

At 20:22 on February 25th, 2024 Mountain View Fire Rescue responded to a reported fire near Meyers Gulch Trailhead north of Gross Reservoir which was called in from a Boulder County Sheriff’s Deputy who happened to be in the area. Brush 2230 and Tender 2240 arrived on scene on Flagstaff Rd. and found two smaller fires on the trailhead with gusting winds, which added additional resources. The fire was put out by 21:12 and crews started mop up of hot spots until 22:34. No evacuations and no homes were threatened during the fire.
