South Adams Second Alarm Fire

On August 24th, 2024 around 06:30 Adcom dispatched South Adams County Fire Department, Adams County Fire Rescue and Platte Valley Ambulance to a possible commercial structure at 5022 E. 60th Ave. in Commerce City. Crews arrived to heavy fire showing from a large warehouse and Battalion 21 requested 2nd alarm with defensive operations. The fire was put under control, around 09:30. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation. Brighton Fire Rescue District and Arvada Fire Protection District covered the district during the fire.
