South Adams Vehicle Accident

On March 5th, 2024 at at 08:23 South Adams County Fire Department units were dispatched to a vehicle accident near E. 88th Ave. and Dahlia St. The vehicles involved sustained heavy damage, resulting in multiple occupant ejections. Five injured occupants were taken to local area hospitals with varying degrees of injuries. An off-duty Denver Firefighter and Northglenn Police Officer helped in the search and removal of the patients from the water. It was reported that a 14 year old was the driver and speeding west on E. 88th Ave. when the vehicle struck the guardrail and went into oncoming traffic, hitting another vehicle. Both directions of E. 88th Ave was closed by Commerce City Police Department. Additional information provided by South Adams Fire Department
