Golden Structure Fire

At 12:45 on June 22nd, 2024 Golden Fire Department, Pleasant View Fire Department, Fairmount Fire Protection District and Stadium Medical responded to a possible structure fire in the 1600 block of Violet St. in Golden. Jeffcom advised that multiple callers reporting a structure is on fire with brushes and a propane tank that exploded. Medic 22 arrived to a brush fire south of a structure, with several propane tanks and a downed power line. Truck 41 arrived to a well involved brush fire approaching a shed and pulled a 1 3/4 for fire attack in the offensive strategy and secured their on water supply. Battalion 21 arrived on scene and assumed command and assigned Truck 24 to pulled a 2nd line to the Delta exposure and the primary search. The fire contained quickly to bushes, brush and one shed and crews started on the overhaul and the investigation. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
