Pleasant View Storage Unit Fire

On May 7th, 2024 at 17:52 Jeffcom 911 dispatched Pleasant View Fire Department, Golden Fire Department, Fairmount Fire Protection District and Stadium Medical to a possible structure fire at the Self-Storage, 16845 Mt Vernon Rd. in West Pleasant View. Engine 41 arrived to a single-story storage unit facility with a working fire and smoke showing. Engine 41 started fire attack on tank water. Engine 24 arrived and secured the water supply to Engine 41. Battalion 30 arrived and assumed command and Engine 21 assisted with fire attack. The fire was put under control quickly in a single storage unit. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation. Additional information provided by Pleasant View Fire Department
