At approximately 06:23 on October 14th, 2024 Pleasant View Fire Department and Golden Fire Department were dispatched to a report of a wildland fire on South Table Mountain. At the same time West Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a structure fire in the area of Rolling Hills Country Club, 15707 W. 26th Ave. Engine 5 arrived at the club house and found a fire on top of the South Table mountain with limited access and dispatch advised that Golden units were on scene reporting the fire on the southside off the old Quarry Trail from Quaker St. and the West Metro response was cancelled. Due to difficult access and uncertain location, units had an extended response. Brush 41 with Battalion 21 made access and began extinguishment on the wildland component. Engine 21 arrived and extinguished the outbuilding fire. Tender 6 and Brush Engine 24 arrived and assisted with water supply and manpower.
