Pleasant View I-70 Semi Accident

On April 17th, 2026 at 14:32 JeffCom 911 dispatched Pleasant View Fire Department with mutual-aid from West Metro Fire Rescue to a MVA rollover on eastbound I-70 at the Colfax Ave. overpass. Engine 6 arrived to a semi on it’s side and the tractor trailer over the guardrail with heavy damage and a diesel fuel leak. Engine 41 arrived and set-up for traffic safety by blocking lanes 1 and 2. The semi was the only vehicle involved in the crash. The Colorado State Patrol Hazmat team was requested and crews offloaded the rest of the diesel fuel in the truck and contained the spill. I-70 was closed during the incident and the driver was not injured. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
