Fairmount Safety Day Fairmount Fire Protection District held their Safety Day on October 4th, 2008 at the Ward Road Park-n-Ride at W. 44th Ave. & Ward Rd in Wheat Ridge. The community came out to meet the firefighters, extraction demo, fire safety information, enjoy food and tour the apparatus. Pridemark Paramedics and Jefferson County Sheriff also participated in the event.

Firefighters Muster 2008 The May Farms 2nd annual firefighters muster was held on July 12th, 2008 at May Farms in Byers. Firefighters from Byers Fire Protection District, Bennett Fire Protection District, Rattlesnake Fire Protection District and Sable-Altura Fire Rescue completed in events including the the battle of the barrel.
Annual Fire Muster & Parade The annual Mile High Hook & Ladder Fire Muster & Parade was held on June 14th, 2008. The fire truck parade was held on Littleton Blvd. to the Arapahoe Community College for the fire muster with lots of emergency vehicles on display including Littleton Fire Rescue holding an auto extrication demonstration.
Station 1 Open House Windsor Severance Fire Rescue held their annual community open house at Station 1 in Windsor on June 7th, 2008. Windsor Police Department, Colorado State Patrol, Platteville-Gilcrest Fire Protection District, Weld County Sheriff and others participated in the event.
AirLife Memorial EMS Muster The annual AirLife Memorial was held at Hudson Gardens in Littleton on May 19th, 2008. The event is hosted by the Friends of AirLife, which honor police, fire and EMS personnel including the AirLife crew that was killed in a helicopter crash on December 14th, 1997.
