Inter-Canyon Open House Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District held an open house on September 20th, 2014 at Station 1, 7939 Turkey Creek Rd. Fit For Fire 5K The 2014 Fit for Fire 5K was held in Washington Park in Denver on September 14th, 2014. Favorite Firefighter Contest The second annual Wrangler Favorite Firefighter Contest was held at the Denver Wrangler on September 12th, 2014. Firefighters from the Colorado Firefighter Calendar competed against one another for donations and the one who collected the most money took home the title. NATRT Trench Training The North Area Technical Rescue Team conducted trench rescue training at Standley Lake in Westminster on September 8th, 9th and 12th, 2014. First Responder Car Show The Denver Police Museum and Denver Firefighters Museum hosted a First Responder Car show at the Northfield Shopping Center on September 6th, 2014. The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, Aurora Police Department, Denver Fire Department, Denver Police Department and the Mile High Hook and Ladder Club participated in the event. Proceeds benefitted both museums.

MDA Fill The Boot 2014 Hundreds of firefighters from around the Denver metro area joined with thousands of their colleagues across the country over the Labor Day Holiday Weekend to help “Fill the Boot” for MDA.
