Fire Station 5 was located at 25191 Aspen Way at Mount Vernon Country Club and was loaned by Mount Vernon Metro District. The station consisted of two bays and storage within Mount Vernon’s maintenance building. Former Mount Vernon Fire Protection District (Colorado) Fire Station.

**The station closed on January 1st, 2022**

WILDLAND 1

1970 AM General 2 1/2 Ton Type 6 6×6 125 GPM pump, 1000 gallon water tank with foam. Loaned from the Colorado State Forest Service. Former Wildland Engine 571 became Brush 555.

1986 International S1854 4×4 / General Safety 1000 GPM pump, 550 gallon water tank and 30 gallon foam cell. Became Engine 534. Former Lookout Mountain Fire Protection District (Colorado) Engine 31.

1986 International S1854 4×4 / General Safety 1000 GPM pump, 550 gallon water tank and 30 gallon foam cell. Former Engine 4 and relocated to Station 4 upon closure of this station.

1998 Ford F-450 4×4 Super Duty / Attack One 110 GPM pump, 300 gallon water tank and 17 gallon foam cell. Relocated to Station 1 upon closure of this station.

1970 AM General 2 1/2 Ton 6×6 / Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control 250 GPM pump, 850 gallon water tank and 10 gallon foam cell.

Loaned by the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control (DFPC) through the Federal Excess Personal Property program. Returned to the state upon closure of Station 5.
