Strasburg Vegetation Fire

On November 8th, 2025 at approximately 13:05 Strasburg Fire Protection District and the I-70 Corridor was dispatched to a reported vegetation fire at 2027 S. County Rd. 157. Heavy black smoke could be scene from both Bennett and Byers. Units arrived on scene to find a large vegetation fire threatening at least three homes. Crews were on scene over three hours extinguishing the blaze and mopping up hot spots. No injuries were reported and no homes were damaged.
