Westminster Apartment Fire

At approximately 19:00 on December 26th, 2019 Westminster Fire Department with auto-aid from Adams County Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire at 7100 Hooker St. Engine 1 arrived to a 3-story apartment complex with fire reported in a unit on the second floor, and pulled a 3 inch line to connect to a standpipe. A high rise pack was connected to the standpipe and the fire was quickly extinguished. Engine 2 arrived on scene and established a water supply, but the fire was out before it was connected to Engine 1. Crews searched the 2nd and 3rd floors for any extensions and to make sure all residents were clear of any hazard. The cause is under investigation.
