Fairmount Structure Fire

At 14:12 on November 12th, 2020 Fairmount Fire Protection District responded to a possible structure fire in the 15400 block of W. 48th Dr. Truck 31 arrived to a working fire from a garage storage structure in the back of the residents, and pulled a 1 3/4 and 2 1/2 line for fire control. Battalion Chief 30 arrived and assumed command, and Engine 32 pulled a line in, and command requested structure protection on the north of the fire in the newer housing subdivision, and District 1 set-up command on on that division with Tower 2 pulling a line in with Engine 58. Medic 23 arrived and assigned as rehab, Engine 5 pulled another 1 3/4 line in for fire attack with Engine 41. Crews got the fire under control with no other extension, and one vehicle and motorcycle were also lost in the fire. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation.
