Mile High Salute

The Mile High Hook & Ladder Club hosted a drive-by parade through east Denver on September 13th, 2020, to celebrate local first responders and emergency workers.  The parade, which kicked off at George Washington High School, passed Denver Fire Stations 15, 18, and 19, as well as Rose Hospital, Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, Presbyterian/St. Luke’s and National Jewish Hospital. The Collector Car Council of Colorado, Model T Car Club, Denver Paramedics, Denver Fire Department and South Metro Fire Rescue also participated in the event and the escorts through the streets with City-Wide Protection Traffic Escorts.
