2nd Alarm Structure Fire

At 12:05 on August 13th, 2020 Thornton Fire Department was alerted to a working structure fire in the 9600 block of Huron St. Engine 71 arrived to a two-story apartment building with a working fire and fire showing on both sides of the building, and started fire attack. The fire extended to the 2nd floor, and with heavy fire conditions a 2nd alarm was requested with a major incident tone. One line was pulled to the outside and the other inside for fire attack. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
