Aurora Structure Fire

On September 17, 2021 at 20:10 Aurora 911 Emergency Communications dispatched Aurora Fire Rescue to a reported residential structure fire in the 3300 block of N. Carson St. Ladder 5 arrived to a single-story single-family structure with light smoke and found active flames from the attic space with a working fire, and crews pulled a 1 3/4 for fire attack. Engine 5 laid a supply line from E. 32nd Place and Carson St. and Engine 8 worked on their plug for the water supply. Engine 5 assisted with fire attack with Ladder 5 started the primary search. Crews got the fire under control quickly and started overhaul. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation for the cause. American Red Cross was requested.
