On December 23rd, 2021 around 10:20 Boulder Police & Fire Communications (9100) alerted Boulder Fire-Rescue Department to a grass fire at 3665 Discovery Drive near the space science building on the CU Boulder east campus. Ladder 2516 arrived to heavy smoke showing in the area, and started the investigation and access to the fire. Ladder 2516 updated with 10 foot flames moving close to a building and to fill the box. Crews worked several hours to get the wind drive fire contained. The fire burned 6.3 acres with no reported injuries. Additional information provided by Code 10 Photography
