At 06:50 on July 18th, 2022 Arvada Fire Protection District with auto-aid from West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a reported commercial structure fire in the 6000 block of W. 55th Ave. Jeffcom advised that AMR Ambulance on scene reporting fire in the rear of the building. Battalion Chief 51 arrived to a confirmed working fire located within storage containers. Engine 54 arrived and pulled a line to begin fire attack in the offensive strategy and Engine 51 secured the water supply. The fire was quickly put out at 07:00 and was contained to the storage container. No injuries occurred and the cause and origin of the fire is under investigation.
