Genesee Fire Rescue held their annual open house on September 17th, 2022 at their station. The community came our to meet up with firefighters, tour the fire apparatus, learn about fire safety and enjoy a BBQ lunch. Jeffco Sheriff Cheezo was on hand with internet and cell phone safety, Highland Rescue Team, Flight for Life, Jefferson County Open Space Park Ranger, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Jefferson County Communications Center Authority (JeffCom 911), Rotary Wildfire Ready and others also participated in the event.
