I-70 Ramp Semi Rollover

On September 16th, 2022 at 15:14 Jeffcom dispatched Golden Fire Department, Pleasant View Fire Department and Stadium Medical to eastbound I-70 ramp to westbound C-470 on the report of a rollover crash. Chief 23 arrived on scene and established command and reported that a semi-tractor trailer, hauling a load of drywall, was involved in a rollover crash with the driver trapped inside the cab of the vehicle. Command requested West Metro Fire Rescue to respond to the scene for an extrication response. The lengthy extrication required over one hour for the crews to reach the individual. Once extricated, the victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. Fire crews assisted the clean-up on the scene.
