Golden Garage Fire

At 11:38 on December 8th, 2025 Golden Fire Department, Pleasant View Fire Department and Stadium Medical responded to a reported structure fire in the 17000 block of W. 16th Ave. in Golden. Units enroute observed a significant column of smoke, and Battalion Chief 21 requested two additional closest units. Chief 21 arrived on scene and reported a working fire from the garage of single-family residence. Engine 41 arrived and initiated fire attack on the garage and pulled an attack line. Battalion Chief 21 completed a 360 and was assigned the attack group. Engine 24 stretched an attack line inside and conducted the primary search of the main residence. The fire was brought under control and Golden Fire Department is working with the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control (DFPC) on the investigation. No injuries were reported.
