Tiny Town Train Derailment

On August 11th, 2010 Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District responded to a Trian that crash at Tiny Town, 6249 S. Turkey Creek Rd. in Morrison. Crews arrived to find one of the miniature trains lost control and tipped over off the track with all five cars also tipping over with passengers riding on. Over 20 people were treated on scene and 15 were transported to local hospitals. West Metro Fire Rescue was requested as well as Elk Creek Fire Protection DistrictEvergreen Fire Protection DistrictIndian Hills Fire Protection District and North Fork Fire Protection District for assistance with the injuries. The cause of the crash was operator error.
