Lafayette House Fire

On September 24th, 2012 around 12:30 Lafayette Fire Department responded to a confirmed deck fire at 807 Glenwood Dr. Engine 2601 arrived to a 3-story single-family dwelling with heavy fire from the Bravo-Charlie sides of the structure quickly advancing throughout with threatened exposures starting to catch, and conditions quickly deteriorating. Crews did a 360 defensive attack then went offensive through the Alpha side. The fire was brought under control within 45 minutes. No injuries were reported, but 4 cats unfortunately did not survive. The fire is under investigation. Additional information provided by Lafayette Fire Department
