Denver Industrial Fire

At approximately 11:30 on November 9th, 2015 Denver Fire Department Chief 4, Engine 9 & Truck 9 were dispatched to a alarm in an industrial building at 3801 E. 50th Ave. Upon arrival crews discovered that a fire had sparked in a large industrial baling machine. The fire, which was suppressed by the building’s fire sprinkler, continued to smolder in debris still in machine. Engine 10 was dispatched to the scene to establish a water supply. Engine 26 & Truck 26 was dispatched to assist with the smoldering debris. Crews were on scene for over an hour overhauling the scene with shovels, pike poles and a small Bobcat. Additional information provided by Denver Fire Department.
