CoorsTek Roof Fire

On February 10th, 2021 around 10:30 Golden Fire Department with auto-aid from Fairmount Fire Protection District, Pleasant View Fire Department, Arvada Fire Protection District, and Stadium Medical to a commercial structure fire at Coors Tek, 17750 W. 32nd Ave. Engine 21 arrived to smoke showing from the roof, established the water supply and started fire attack, and Truck 31 laddered the roof with the aerial. Chief 21 arrived and assumed command, and assigned Engine 41 to assist Engine 21 with fire attack on the roof and Medic 21 as medical group. The fire was quickly extinguished and crews started overhaul. No injuries and the fire is under investigation by CoorsTek or Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
