Explosive Devices Investigation

On June 27th, 2022 Boulder County HazMat Authority and the Boulder County Regional Bomb Squad returned to a residence in the 7700 block of Durham Circle in Gunbarrel that had caught fire the night before (Gunbarrel Durham Circle Basement Fire). In the news release by Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, firefighters located components of homemade explosive devices during the fire on June 26th, 2022. For that concern, the bomb squad and HazMat returned to continue to investigate. After conducting a search, crews did not believe the device discovered was explosive in nature.
