West Metro Multiple Fires

On April 4th, 2024 at 14:52 Jeffcom dispatched West Metro Fire Rescue to a grass fire in the area of the Fox Hollow Golf Course. Engine 9 arrived to several fires burning in the golf course and crews started fire attack. When Crews arrived the flames were slowly spreading, but quick work kept them from directly impacting homes and other structures. West Metro crews fire watched overnight patrolling the fire area and checking for any heat.  One person was put into custody from setting the multiple small fires in and around the golf course. The fires burned about 5 acres in total. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
