High Plains Honor Flight – Spring of 2026
On April 19th, 2026 Veterans were honored and escorted to the Loveland-Fort Collins Municipal Airport where they were flown to Washington D.C. to visit the War Memorials. Firefighters and First Responders from agencies across the Northern Colorado Region were present to escort the veterans to the Airport. Upon the return, Loveland Fire Rescue Authority welcomed the veterans back with one on one unloading from the airplane and given a large thank you from those agencies.
