High Angle Rescue Training

The North Area Technical Rescue Team conducted high angle rescue training at the water towers in Thornton on March 19th, 2016. Team members practices rigging and repelling from the tower. Firefighters from Arvada, Frederick-Firestone, North Metro, Thornton and Westminster participated in the training.

The NATRT consists of Adams County Fire Rescue, Arvada Fire Protection District, Brighton Fire Rescue District, Federal Heights Fire Department, Frederick-Firestone Fire Protection District, North Metro Fire Rescue District, Mountain View Fire Rescue, South Adams County Fire Department, Thornton Fire Department and Westminster Fire Department.
