Restaurant Fire Investigation

At 13:41 on February 4th, 2021 North Metro Fire Rescue District with auto-aid from Thornton Fire Department, Adams County Fire Rescue & Federal Heights Fire Department to a possible commercial structure fire at the I-Hop, 221 W. 104th Ave. in Northglenn. Truck 62 arrived to a medium size one-story restaurant with nothing showing, and started the investigation in the offensive strategy. Truck 62 found burning plastic odor and light smoke inside with no active fire, Battalion 62 arrived and assumed command. Engine 63 laddered the roof, found a burnt motor on the HVAC unit and got control of the fire, and command released the rest of the response.
