On April 7th, 2022 Federal Heights Fire Department Sergeant Frank Turek was honored with a funeral service at the Grace Church, 6969 Sheridan Blvd. in Arvada. A procession to the church went by the Federal Heights Police Department and Federal Heights Fire Department. with many fire and police departments in the procession including Adams County Fire Rescue, Broomfield Police Department, Lafayette Fire Department, Mountain View Fire Rescue, Northglenn Police Department, North Metro Fire Rescue District, Platteville-Gilcrest Fire Protection District, Stadium Medical, Thornton Fire Department, Thornton Police Department and Westminster Fire Department. Frank served his community as a police officer for 31 years. He is survived by his wife, Valery, and his children, Jacquelyn, Michael, and Brittany; his son-in-laws, Will and Dante; daughter-in-law, Krystal; and his grandchildren, Vanicia, Akeila, Kaius, Max and Theo.
