A day of training with the Front Range Fire Consortium’s (frontrangefireconsortium.org) recruit academy Class 2023-02. On September 14, 2023 during their 4th of 15 weeks, class 23-02 trained on SCBA confidence skills and JPR check offs including ropes, knots, salvage, small engines, SCBA & emergency procedures at the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority training grounds in Loveland. Recruits are from Loveland Fire Rescue Authority, Windsor-Severance Fire Rescue, Boulder Fire Rescue and Lafayette Fire Department and the Instructional cadre and module instructors are from all Front Range Fire Consortium member departments. The Front Range Fire Consortium (FRFC) is made up of several member departments: Boulder Fire-Rescue Department, Boulder Rural Fire Rescue, Front Range Fire Rescue, Greeley Fire Department, Lafayette Fire Department, Longmont Fire Department, Loveland Fire Rescue Authority, Mountain View Fire Rescue, Platte Valley Fire Protection District, Poudre Fire Authority & Windsor-Severance Fire Rescue.
