On December 22nd, 2025 at 17:30 Boulder County Communications alerted Four Mile Fire Protection District, Sunshine Fire Protection District, Boulder County Fire Management and Boulder Emergency Squad to a possible grass fire in the area of Four Mile Drive and Logan Mill Rd. during red flag conditions. Crews arrived to a creeping fire on the slop of Wild Turkey Rd. threating structures and mutual-aid was requested with evacuations. The fire was declared contained about 22:30. No structures were lost or damaged in the fire and the cause is under investigation. The fire size was determined to be around 3 acres.
